Knutsford Lions supports the Lions European Music Competition. Each year one particular instrument is selected and the candidates take part in the Multiple District competition with the winner going through to the European finals in Finland.
The instrument selected for 2009 is the trombone and candidates must have been born after 31 December 1985 and have been resident in the multiple district for three years prior to 1 January 2009. The closing date for this years competition is 28 February 2009.
