Far too often the young of today are only heard of in a negative light. The Lions Young Ambassador scheme is a celebration of the hard work and long hours that some young people put in to their communities with no thought for reward. The scheme also gives some publicity to the charities and volunteer groups with which they are involved.
The scheme currently operates with in Europe. Young people who are entered for this competition are put forward initially to the District level. The winners of this are then entered to the Multiple District level (the British Isles) and the winner of that go forward to the European level.
