Spectacle Recycling

Knutsford Lions collects spectacles for recycling and re-use overseas. We have collecting boxes in each of local opticians and at the Knutsford Heritage Centre. We collect over 1500 pairs of spectacles each year.

Once collected they are sent to Chichester Lions Club who sort and grade the spectacles. This is done by the Chichester Lions and other local volunteers.

These are then used in eye camps throughout the world.
