Knutsford Lions recently contributed to the SightFirst II campaign to raise $200 million for the Lions Clubs International Foundations SightFirst campaign. It was so successful it raised more than the target $200 million within three years.
Lions have had a long history of championing sight related problems. This has been the case since in 1925 Helen Keller challenged International Lions to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness".
The funds raised by the SightFirst II campaign will be used as follows:
