On Christmas Day the Knutsford Lions hold an annual lunch for people who would otherwise be on their own in the Knutsford area.
In 2008 over 30 guests arrived at the Stanley Centre for a Christmas Dinner cooked by the Lions ably assisted by volunteers. The event was a time of friendship and fun with the appearance of Santa Clause delivering presents.
This event will be held again on 25 December 2009. If, nearer the time, you know of anyone who will be on their own on Christmas day please let us know.
