Knutsford Lions Club meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Whipping Stocks Inn, Over Peover. Meetings start at 8:00pm.
Officially the first meeting in the month is for business with the second meeting being a social. In practice though meetings tend to combine both social and business.
The business section of the meetings cover planning for community service projects, fundraising and any forthcoming social events. At some meetings we have speakers from organisations or individuals with which we have worked or provided partial funding for.
Some meetings are attended by Lions from other clubs. This helps foster friendships throughout the world. It also helps with the spread of ideas for community service projects and fundraising events.
To reach the Whipping Stocks pub, Stocks Lane, Lower Peover from Knutsford. Head out of Knutsford on the A50 signposted Holmes Chapel. After about 2.5 miles Stocks Lane turns off on the left. The Whipping Stocks is immediatly on the right.
