For every £1 that is raised from the public £1 goes back in to the community
Within Lions Clubs International each club is required to have at least two separate accounts. These are a charities account and an administration account. Knutsford Lions has both a charities account and an administration account.
The Charities Account is a registered charity number 508499. Money raised from the public goes in to this account. Events such as our Street Fayre, Easter raffle and collections are used to raise money from the public. The account is solely used for the benefit of the public. Knutsford Lions are very proud of the fact that for every £1 raised from the community £1 goes back into the community. The Administration account is funded from money collect from members. Most of the money is raised through our half-yearly dues and fun fund raising activities within the club.
